Recital for Piano Students on May 26, 2009

Our Music ministry offers a variety of opportunities for all age groups.  Music styles vary and reflect the rich heritage of our arts-enriched past and future.  Everyone is welcome to share in this ministry where members are friendly, relaxed, and supportive of each other.  Please come and share our joy.

Rehearsal Schedule:

Children's choir on Sundays at 9:30am

Youth Handbells on Sundays at 12pm

Children's Handchimes on Wednesdays at 5:30pm

Adult Handbells (3 Octaves) on Wednesdays at 6:50pm

Adult Choir on Wednesdays at 7:30pm

About our Music Director:

Randall Hartsell is a graduate of East Carolina University where he studied piano pedagogy and performance. He has over 30 years of teaching experience. He is a recognized composer of educational music both nationally and internationally. He has over 100 piano solos and books published by Alfred Music Publishers and Willis/Hal Leonard Corporation. He has taught piano at Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer N. C. and accompanied many dance classes and performances at UNC Charlotte. He is currently organist/director of Music at Cross and Crown Lutheran Church, Matthews, N. C., Director of Friends of Music at C.&C. which offers free community concerts. He is Chairperson of the Charlotte chapter of The National Guild of Piano Teachers. This organization hosts an annual audition for over 250 local piano students.
