(Aiden S--4's class) Cross and Crown Weekday School has been fantastic for not only my son who attends but for our whole family. We recently moved here and I met a lady who told me that this was a fantastic School for her children. The moment that we walked in to tour the School, we were greeting by the Director Dana with a warm welcoming smile. This staff is incredible all the teachers are so friendly and sweet and it really feels like a close knit family environment. The school hosts many family events which I really appreciate because I can meet other families that attend the School and get to know the staff better. My son was very hesitant to start at a new School and he fell in love with his teacher, Miss Jane within five minutes of meeting her. They also have the most wonderful music teacher, Miss TiLisa who really nurtures my sons love of music. I am very blessed to have found this School. -Carissa Sanchez
(Luke M.--3's class) I am overwhelmingly pleased with Cross and Crown Weekday School. It’s a warm and positive environment where children are constantly engaged in developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities. The curriculum is carefully structured to teach children skills beyond their ABCs. The teachers are always engaged with the children, singing, reading, doing arts and crafts, talking with them, fostering language and social interactions. My son Luke absolutely loves the school and that makes me feel confident that I have picked the right preschool program! --Guiselle Mahon
(Sklyer--4's class) We have our four year old son Skyler in the Cross & Crown Weekday School program, and he is very happy there. Every day he learns something new, and we have been very impressed with his progress and growth. Dana, who is the director of the program, invested in the Wee-Learn academic program, which incorporates a nice balance of science, math, art, music, as well as a fun and effective methodology for teaching all those critically important pre-reading skills. The Wee-Learn program emphasizes a hands on approach, and this makes all the difference at this young age. Preschoolers need to hear, feel, see, smell, and taste as part of their learning process if they are going to retain it long term. The teachers and the director at this preschool get this, and they take it to heart. Imagine my surprise when on my son's agenda, I saw that they were going to be making a volcano that day.
But, equally important, is that your child is surrounded by loving and caring teachers and staff. What can we say other than this is where Cross and Crown really shines. What a nice bunch they all are. They really care about our little guy, and that makes all the difference. --Roy & Abby Powell
