LeAnne Bates has been the friendly face who has greeted members at Cross and Crown for nearly 20 years as our Church Administrator. When she’s not keeping things running smoothly at church, you’ll likely find her scrapbooking, baking something delicious, or out on the pickleball court having a little fun! She also loves to travel, cook, and spend time with her family—and her feisty Chihuahua, Gizmo, who keeps life entertaining!
Originally from Miami, Florida, LeAnne moved to Charlotte as a teenager and has called it home ever since. She’s been married to her high school sweetheart, Tommy, for 31 years. Their daughter, Erin, lives in Raleigh with her husband, Sam, and their two Golden Retrievers, Wiley and Jeter.
At Cross and Crown, LeAnne especially enjoys creating church communications and working alongside staff and members to bring ideas to life—something she does with creativity, care, and a whole lot of heart.
